Vista??

Honestly i dont really enjoy using this. The machine limps big time, even though with a GB of RAM. Heard 2GB is what you require to run it without much hitch! C'mon! i remember runnin my athlon with 256MB... and yes ofcourse a celeron 500 with 160 MB! yes they both ran without much trouble. But the cele has gone a bit sluggish now.
Couple of features i do like. One being the ability to partition like we used to do with partition magic. Another one is the "start search" option, where you start typing the name of the program and voila! you see that getting filtered out in the start menu. And yes, the one up button goes off from the explorer and instead of that you get to click on he folder hierarchy which takes you to the respective folder!
but then me feels that all these are not much worth for the drop in performance!
And hey, you dont have to click "start" to stop the computer.. atleast while usning the vista theme!

this blogger tabs has been open for more than an hour... and nothing much has been written..
ok my sissy is chkin out my blog... so plannin to keep it clean!

Am back!

Yes am back after a while.. its been a while, since i feel awkward blogging from office.. not that they have restricted but didn't feel so.. So am chkin out how is it to blog from mob :-).
well am in a new place now.. new office, new team, house and ofcourse new roomie.
The new year show didn't turn up as expected for me.. i was not satisfied with the way i performed.. needed more and a lot of practice.. The 12 hour gig kinda drained me.. had my friend to share the console too.. but it was not easy playin to a mixed crowd.. cant keep everyone happy. well the final thing : did the show.. got paid :-)
About the job.. yes got settled here.. team is good and facilities are good too.. best part is unrestricted net access.. employer seems to have good faith on us.. good i guess.. and the other part is.. free biscuits and lunch :-) hee heh.
my fingers have started painin.. mmm.. hope am able to save this!

Chennai life...

Well am gonna write something abt chennai... the place where i began my white collar rather zombie life...
Well i neer wanted to end up here.. but the place istn bad as i thought it to be.. roads are good, water is ok, good places to hangout and love the beaches... just that ppl still do the "thing" on the streets in the open.. and not a day passes without haggling with the auto wallah's! well a brighter side to the auto thing.. this made me respect the auto chettans back home @ Cochin.. after the chennai thing i made it a point to travel most by auto's when am home.. here meters ae mere show pieces..

Chennai is the place that gave me freedom, lots.. no one frm family here, lotsa friends infact i have 450 + entries in my phonebook (blah blah) i enjoyed the most surin the trainin period. we stayed at an "ashram" where all of us were put together( yess all.. in diff rooms obviously) i was initially stayin at a block where all except my flat was occupied my collegues from the fairer sex! par not much fun... apun ka type nahi tha... hee heee..
Enjoyed those days liek anythin.. everyone was jsut a call away, just walk to to friends place anytime.. just had to fear the snakes wrigglin around.. we even organised a disco there.. was very much fun to make around 200 odd ppl dancin to my tunes!
The place that i stay is pretty beautiful.. greenery and most importantly.. the beach! just sit on the sands and the breeze will take away all ur worries.

And i have put on weigt. royally.. everyone else managed to lose... guess its got something to do with "hormones" hee hee.. One thing my dad was happy abt sending em to chennai was the hope that i will pull down like his friends son did.. which didnt happen with me... he's pretty disappointed and worried too.. now am plannin on some YOGA (which by the way i was supposed to start last week :) ) am a lazy guy!!!!!

2 Moisturiser (yes i beieve in those now)
3 conditioner (have a look at me n u will know!)

one more thing.. College life is ultimate!!!!

Am back!

hi and am back to bloggin after quite sumtime... and things are pretty much happenin.. thanks to the so called "human nature" music is pretty much in me.. and burnt some extra cash for it too.. i still dont like to take another look at my gadget bill
and i switched jobs.. shd be happy abt it.. as i have reached (or will be reachin) somewhere where i never thought i will be ... in the first place! i never thought ab a switch so early in my career.. but guess i gave it to the advice frm my peers n folks and ofcourse the slip (rather the carrot as described by my current PM) looks rosy/juicy too :)
and nowtakin a look back at the kind a job i did or used to do... it looks pretty varied... i had been a shop sales guys (at uncles), sound crew (yes its more of a polished dignified word), DJ, comperer, organizer, programmer, admin, blah , bjah... and of all the jobs which ppl expect me to do... a teacher... phew... hee hee...


and yes my blog looks depressin, troubled et al... well must attribute it to the fact that blog only whn i feel depressed... otherwise.. am kinda occupied with things which doesnt gimmie time to "depress" myself and ofcourse blog...
